Cash Calculator: In Partnership with Ceto & Associates

In January WesCorp launched three new products into beta testing: IRD Now!, HSA ProTrak and the Cash Calculator. Each of these products was designed with one thing in mind: helping our member credit unions gain efficiencies in back-office operations. IRD Now! went live in May and several credit unions have already adopted the enhancement, while HSA ProTrak has just recently launched in partnership with Procura, LLC. Cash Calculator has now concluded beta—to the delight of one credit union in particular.

Mission Federal Credit Union was looking for a tool that could automate its cash needs, provide historic and current cash levels, deliver data analysis that would show trends, and take the guesswork out of ordering cash, even down to the denomination. Ron Araujo, Mission FCU’s Chief Financial Officer, began testing Cash Calculator and at the conclusion of the beta test, he stated, “The Cash Calculator takes the guesswork out of ordering cash. Our 21 branches had 21 different ideas about cash needs and how much cash to order. With Cash Calculator, we have access to quantitative cash data and order recommendations that assist us in determining appropriate branch and ATM cash levels.”

Ron went on to add, “Cash Calculator assists me as CFO as well; I’m able to see what Cash Calculator has forecasted for our branches’ cash needs versus what our branch team actually ordered. Cash Calculator gives us a way to track and measure branch cash levels and needs in an easy-to-use application. I would recommend Cash Calculator to other credit unions.”
