WesCorp Closing Regional Processing Facilities

For the last few years the check processing industry has undergone a dramatic transformation with changes in consumer payment preferences and the move to image exchange technologies. As these changes accelerate, providers have been consolidating their operations.

In order to minimize the expenses that reflect in fees charged to our Members and in keeping with the overall moves in the industry, WesCorp will be consolidating all of its branch processing facilities. These consolidations will take place from December 2009 through approximately June 2010 as facility leases expire in San Leandro, Seattle, Spokane, and Salt Lake City. As these consolidations occur WesCorp will continue to provide paper check collection processing for those Members who have not yet converted to image and will contact and work with them on the next steps, including instructions for delivery of deposits.

WesCorp continues to be committed to providing leading-edge products and services at cost-effective rates. The most effective way we can accomplish this is to actively take steps to minimize our own costs and continue to offer you products that can do the same in your own environment.
