WesCorp Announces 2009 Webcast Series on Leadership
How would you like to sit down one-on-one with some of the most influential CEOs in the credit union industry? What insights could you gain to further your career, prepare for challenges ahead, or more effectively manage your organization? WesCorp announces the launch of The CEO Leadership Table, a monthly, web-based, 30-minute educational series that will look at the key leadership principles and practices of today’s key credit union leaders.
“Certainly in the midst of our current financial turmoil, the role of an effective leader is more critical today than ever before,” noted series host Ken Lyall, WesCorp’s Manager of Communications. “Each month, we’ll interview prominent CEOs from around the U.S. on practical issues of leadership, including shared values, mentoring, successful principles, and practical ideas for growth.”
The CEO Leadership Table kicks off on Tuesday, January 6, with an in-depth interview with Gary Oakland, CEO of BECU, the largest credit union in Washington and the fifth largest in the U.S. (See photo below) Each program in the webcast series is complimentary and can be accessed by registering in advance of its airdate through www.wescorp.org. All programs are viewed on WesCorp's Web site, either at the actual time of the webcast—-the first Tuesday of each month at 11 a.m. Pacific Time-—or any time thereafter as a recorded archived presentation.
The monthly series is produced by Overland Studios.
