WesCorp CUSIP Data Now Available on Member Center

At the direction of the Conservatorship Board of Directors and continuing the effort to be as transparent as possible with our member credit unions, WesCorp has made its investment CUSIP data available on the Member Center. We believe additional information regarding our investment portfolio is important for our members to have access to for the purpose of understanding WesCorp’s financial condition. Therefore, we have provided a complete listing of the investment CUSIP numbers.

What is a CUSIP?
A CUSIP is a nine-digit number, which can be referenced to obtain additional data regarding the performance of a particular security. It can also be found on trade confirmation tickets and generally helps make it easier to identify securities and settle and clear trades. In WesCorp’s CUSIP list, alongside each CUSIP number, we have also listed the name of the security, the original par value and the current par value as of March 31, 2009. If you are performing an analysis as of a different date, you will need to adjust the factors to reflect monthly paydowns as necessary.

How to find WesCorp’s CUSIP data
The WesCorp CUSIP data can be found in the Due Diligence on WesCorp section on the Member Center. Look under Reportable Items on the lower right hand side of the Due Diligence page.

We would like you to know that we consider the CUSIP data to be proprietary and, in the wrong hands, could harm your interests and ours. Therefore, we ask you to agree that the CUSIP information will only be viewed by you and those employees within your credit union who have a need to see it.

You will also be asked to agree not to share the data with any third party. However, you may submit a request to have WesCorp provide the information to a third party to conduct analysis for you, if you send an e-mail containing the name and contact information of the third party. WesCorp will review the request and upon approval will send a separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to the third party. When WesCorp receives the signed NDA from the third party, we will send the CUSIP data directly to them.
